Welcome to the homepage of Gamma Tau Phi, the IST Honor Society at Penn State University. The objective of Gamma Tau Phi, as outlined in the constitution, is to recognize and encourage scholarship, leadership, and service among students in The College of IST.
Gamma Tau Phi has identified 58 new candidates for induction this semester. New member inductions will be held on Tuesday, September 29th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Cybertorium (113 IST). Dress is casual. Inductions are held in conjunction with a general meeting. They serve to recognize and congratulate incoming members and introduce them to the Honors Society. After the information session, there is a meet and greet for members and officers. All members are invited to attend this event as we will be going over some important information about the Honors Society and its current initiatives. Members will have a chance to participate in the society.
